Homeless in Stanley Park

I met “Trippy” along the sea wall on day as he cooked eggs and bacon in a fry pan over a small wood fire. The story goes Trippy was with the cirque du soleil as a trapeze artist when he took a bad spill and started doing drugs in order to get the courage to get back up on the trapeze. He’s now been living in Stanley Park for seven years.  I would see Trippy every other day and we would hang out on a street corner or a parking lot and shoot the breeze, after a couple weeks of this I would look forward to seeing him and our chats.

Ryan has been living on the streets of Vancouver of two years now and suffers from by polar.

Lost and forgotten – Evidence of a past camp hangs in the forest.

A not so pretty side of the homeless problem. I found this garage pile in the heart of Stanley Park.

Falling off a trapeze would be scary.

Not sure the last message was posted, but I was hoping to get in touch with you via email. I am interested in the work you did with people living in Stanley Park. Thanks.
