The City of Montreal takes their snow removal very seriously. To clear one street, the city came with two graders, two sidewalk cleaners, a front-end loader, a massive snow blower, two semi trucks and two tow trucks for cars not yet moved. It was quite the scene.

Everyone was so very welcoming to me. There was every nationality there in the room of 60 souls.

I shared a large plate of rice, veggies and meat with two men, as we sat on the floor we chatted about the world and the art of being a better person. I left the mosque feeling very positive and charged up, the evening wasn’t about religion so much as brotherhood, friendship and love. Everyone there greeted you by looking directly into your eyes followed by a warm smile. The door is always open and anyone of any religious background is welcome.
