Day 26 of a 365-Day Portrait of Canada: Sir John A. Macdonald’s burial site in the Cataraqui Cemetery, Kingston, Ontario

Canada’s first Prime Minister, Sir John A. Macdonald, died in Ottawa in 1891 and was buried in Kingston, Ontario. As was his wish, his grave was marked by a single cross.
