Moving the ice fishing shack into place for the weekend
I’m betting these lads not only ice fish, but hunt as well.
Some ice fishing shacks are just that shacks, others are however high tech like this one.
We counted 57 ice fishing shack on Lake Scugog today and tomorrow being a weekend it’ll be crazy business with everyone trying to catch “the big one”.

Augering Ice Fishing Hole
Today on Lake Scugog it was minus 14. Fishing lines iced up in ten minutes and fishing holes needed to be cleared of ice every half hour. It was warm when the sun was shining, but once the sun went behind the clouds it got cold quickly. The ice is now 12 inches thick, strong enough for trucks to drive on it. We, however, didn’t want to take a chance with our van.
