What a surprise to see a picture of John (Day 216) — the guy with the friendly face, standing in his store, which is located near the Canso Causeway (causeway between Nova Scotia mainland and Cape Breton Island). I usually drop in to see John when I am back in Nova Scotia in the summer. I now live in Vancouver. I grew up in Nova Scotia — I’m enjoying the pictures you’ve taken there. You met up with my brother, Kerry, in Chester. He’s also a photographer. He posted a picture of your van on his Chester website some days ago. Happy trails!

Oh my God… You have JOHN on this blog? I remember going to his store whenever on the way to family vacations from Nfld to Nova Scotia. Strange guy. Very in your face. And I think he was hitting on me. (I am about 30 years his junior).
