Pix Of The Day – Treasures Found Along The Notikewin River Bed, north of Manning, Alberta.

I met these three boys walking cross a field they had just returned from an early evening visit to the Notikewin River, near Manning, Alberta. Check out these made in Alberta treasures. The boy on the left proudly holds a heavy reddish rock with a score of tiny fossils. The tall lad in the middle points an arrow-head skyward and the boy on the right holds a petrified leg bone from either a bison or steer.

What adventures!
